Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before reserving a private Borralho experience.

Your reservation

Borralho offers private Portuguese dining experiences at 70 Pacific Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105. Each event is reserved exclusively for one group of 10–14 guests. Scheduled experiences run from 6 PM to 10 PM Eastern on the first, second, and third Saturdays of the month, subject to the dates and availability shown on the booking page.

A date held during checkout is temporary. A reservation is confirmed only after payment has been verified. Do not submit another payment while a payment is awaiting verification; use the payment-status option or contact Don Rodrigo.

Prices and payment

The experience is $350 per guest, plus a 3% service fee and applicable New Jersey sales tax, currently 6.625%. The service fee is calculated on the meal subtotal after any valid promotional discount. Sales tax is calculated on the subtotal plus the service fee. The complete total is displayed before payment. The service fee is not described as a tip.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Borralho does not store full card numbers or card security codes. A valid promo code must be applied before payment; the discount and final total shown at checkout govern that booking.

No refunds

Bookings are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Please confirm your date, party size, and total before paying. These terms do not remove any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Cancellation and rescheduling: written email required

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing by email directly to Don Rodrigo at Alentejanopork@outlook.com. Include the booking reference, booked date, name, and requested change.

You may call (973) 900-5385 to discuss your booking, but the request must also be emailed. A date change is subject to availability and Don Rodrigo’s approval and is effective only when he confirms it in writing. Sending a request does not automatically cancel or change a confirmed reservation or create a right to a refund.

Event photography and filming

Photography and video recording may take place during Borralho events. Guests must be willing to be photographed and filmed as a condition of attendance. Recordings may include a guest’s image and voice and may be used on Borralho’s website, social media, and promotional materials.

By accepting these terms, you consent to Borralho recording and using your own image and voice for these purposes. The booking organizer must inform every member of the group about this condition before attendance. Each adult guest must agree for themselves; the organizer’s acceptance does not provide consent on behalf of other adults. Appropriate parent or legal guardian consent is required before recording or publishing images of a minor.

If you or a member of your group cannot agree to this condition, email Don Rodrigo at Alentejanopork@outlook.com before booking or adding that guest. Do not assume a filming-free arrangement is available unless Don Rodrigo confirms it in writing.

Guest information and dietary requests

Provide accurate contact information so Don Rodrigo can reach you about the reservation. Tell him about allergies, dietary requirements, and special requests before the event. A request is not guaranteed unless Borralho confirms that it can be accommodated. Contact Don Rodrigo directly if a requirement is essential to your attendance.

Changes made by Borralho

If Borralho needs to change or cancel an experience, Don Rodrigo will contact the booking customer to explain the available arrangements. Any change or remedy will be handled consistently with applicable law.

Using this website

Use the site for lawful inquiries and genuine bookings. Do not interfere with its operation or submit someone else’s contact or payment information without authorization. Your use of booking and payment services is also subject to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

Policy version and contact

These booking terms apply to new reservations for which this version is accepted. Existing reservations retain the terms agreed when booked. We record the accepted version and acceptance time with a new booking.
