Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Borralho handles information collected through borralho.vip and its reservation service.

Information we collect

When you begin a booking, we save the name, email address, phone number, selected date, number of guests, optional requests, and any promo code you provide. We also keep the quoted subtotal, service fee, tax, booking and payment references, booking status, and the accepted terms version and time. An unfinished or cancelled checkout can still leave a booking record.

Our hosting and payment providers may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, request times, and security logs. Please avoid putting unnecessary sensitive information into the optional requests field.

Contact details entered before submission

When the contact-saving option is checked on the reservation form, your name, email address and phone number are saved automatically as you type, even if you never submit the form or pay. Partial details may be saved. We store the latest values, not a history of keystrokes, to allow the Borralho owner to follow up personally about your booking. This does not reserve an event or subscribe you to marketing. Uncheck the option to stop saving and remove the current form draft. Drafts are kept for up to 90 days; expired drafts are removed when contact information is saved or the contacts dashboard is opened. Your browser tab stores a random draft reference so edits update the same record. Previously submitted booking records are separate.

How we use your information

We use booking information to reserve your event, process and verify payment, manage availability, respond to questions, handle written change requests, provide customer service, and maintain business and payment records. We also use limited technical information to operate and protect the site and investigate errors or misuse.

Submitting a booking does not subscribe you to marketing messages. Borralho does not sell the contact information collected through this booking service.

Event photography and video

Events may be photographed or filmed. Recordings can include guests’ images and voices and, with the appropriate consent, may be used on Borralho’s website, social media, and promotional materials. Published material may be visible to the public. The event photography and filming terms explain the attendance condition, individual guest agreement, and parent or guardian consent for minors.

Stripe payments and saved customer contact

Stripe processes payment information directly. New checkouts are configured to collect the customer’s name and phone number and create a Stripe customer record when checkout confirmation is attempted. Stripe may save the contact and billing information provided during its payment flow. Borralho keeps payment and customer references to associate the payment with the booking.

Borralho does not receive or store your full card number or card security code in its booking database. Stripe’s use of information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy. Payment method providers may have their own privacy terms.

Who receives information

Booking details are available to the authorized Borralho owner or administrator for reservation management. We use service providers to host the website, store booking records, process payments, and support customer communications where configured. The site is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure, and payments use Stripe. Providers process information needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

Website analytics

We collect first-party usage statistics to understand website traffic and improve booking. These include the page path, event type, a broad traffic-source category, screen-size category, and time. For the booking forms, we count when the form becomes visible, a guest first edits a field or changes an option, and the browser submits the form. Analytics does not collect the contents of form fields, keystrokes, or partially entered contact details. We do not save IP addresses, full referring URLs, query strings, names, email addresses, or persistent visitor identifiers in analytics records. Data is stored with our website hosting providers, not sent to Google Analytics, and used in rolling 90-day reports. Records older than 90 days are removed when new activity arrives or the analytics dashboard is opened.

Short-lived session-storage timestamps, source categories and per-form milestone flags help estimate form engagement and visits within the same browser tab after 30 minutes of inactivity. These are not linked to your booking contact details. Visit counts are estimates, not unique people. Analytics respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals; blockers and browser settings may reduce reported traffic.

Browser storage and embedded content

The booking page uses session storage to remember a checkout reference in your browser so you can resume or verify an unfinished payment. This reference is removed when checkout is confirmed or cancelled. Owner sign-in and Stripe’s payment services may use cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, payments, and fraud prevention.

The Borralho film is delivered by the website’s hosting service. Viewing it may generate standard technical delivery logs. Links to maps, social platforms, and other external sites are governed by those services’ policies.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage reservations and customer service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. We use access restrictions and the security features of our hosting and payment providers to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your requests

You may ask to review, correct, or delete your booking contact information by emailing Alentejanopork@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Requests concerning information held independently by Stripe or another provider may also need to be directed to that provider.
